Overview
In some cases, a programme on BoB may be incomplete, cut off, or not match the title and description.
This is usually due to a recording or metadata issue, and there are a few steps you can take to find the correct version or report the problem.
Quick answer
If a programme is incomplete or incorrect:
- Use “Search for repeats” to find another version
- Try searching for the programme again
- If no alternative is available, use the “Report issue” button
Try finding another version
Sometimes a different broadcast of the same programme is available.
To check:
- Click “Search for repeats” on the programme page
- Look for another version that matches the correct content
Search for the programme again
If no repeats are available:
- Search for the programme title in BoB
- Try adding keywords (e.g. episode name, channel, date)
- Look for alternative broadcasts or versions
Use TRILT to find alternatives
If you’re still unable to find the correct version:
- Search for the programme in TRILT
- Check if other broadcasts are listed
- Use this information to locate a suitable version or request it if needed
Report the issue
If no suitable version is available:
- Go to the programme page
- Click “Report problem with this programme”
- Select the issue type and provide as much detail as possible
Our team will review the issue and, where possible:
- Replace the recording
- Provide an alternative version
Resolving missing or incorrect content can take time, as it may involve retrieving and digitising archive recordings. We prioritise requests based on educational need—thank you for your understanding.
